  • Tasty Jams – PS22 "Empire State of Mind"

    PS22 is an elementary school chorus from Public School 22 in Graniteville, Staten Island (New York). It is comprised of 60-70 fifth-graders, and is directed by Gregg Breinberg. Their rendition of Alicia Keys & Jay-Z’s Empire State of Mind is beautifully done and most definitely worth watching.

  • Trashed Idea – SarcMark

    A Michigan company announced the release of software Tuesday that introduces new punctuation to the typed word: The sarcasm mark.Sarcasm Inc. of Washington Township said the SarcMark, which resembles an open circle with a dot in the center, can be installed on computers via a program that can be downloaded from sarcmark.com for $1.99.

    So, uh, this is real. Apparently a company in Michigan decided that the English language has been empty and unfulfilled in this new cyber dawn. Something was missing. Something in the punctuation, because I mean it wasn’t even a couple months ago they pretty much annihilated all the words with hyphen from the English language. More here.

  • Game – First-Person Tetris

    I don’t like to post games on here. I find most internet cafe games to be trite and generally a waste of time. That’s not to say I won’t play an innovative or intriguing game. And that is exactly what this is. This game puts a whole new angle on a classic.

    While not quite as shocking or awesome as a burlesque show starring Ms. Piggy, a burlesque show with Jabba the Hut is a close second. In all seriousness, I would go to this and have both a nerd-gasm and orgasm and it would be glorious.

  • Trashed Ideas – Condom pillows

    There’s nothing more comforting than a feeling of safety while you sleep and this pillow recreated in the shape of a Lifestyles condom is a reminder that safety is not just a state of mind. This giant plush jimmy hat wrapper has a poly fill and has pockets for condoms inlaid in the fabric. A few of these on your bed and shes definitely knows whats going down after the first date.

  • Tasty Jams – Every Little Step – John Travolta

    John Travolta recently got the opportunity to make a music video to go along with his appearance in Disney’s Old Dogs. These are the fruits of that labor, and can I just say it is absolutely inspiring. I doubt this got any real air-time, so let’s all thank the good Internet for it’s bounty today.
