Your WTF for the day – Ganguro Guide
It’s already topped out at #17 most discussed on a few popular video boards. Ganguro was a popular style in Japan in the 2000’s and remains around today, kind of like guidos, except for the female gender.
The girl’s name is Gloria Nava and does sketch comedy sketches. I honestly can’t tell if she is doing it for laughs or if she really does endorse the style. She sells it really well, either way. Enjoy!

Your WTF for the day – U2 Spiderman Musical
I wish I could make these things up, but it turns out the world is much more inventive than I first gave it credit for. U2 believes they are fully prepared to produce a broadway showing of Spiderman. They have stated that Spiderman himself will not sing, as if that somehow saves face. The director is Julie Taymor of Across the Universe fame. They apparently are introducing new characters to the Spiderman cannon, as if there weren’t enough to choose from, and are penning about 50-60 songs. Doubtful they will use all of them, but this is just trash. It’s set for a 2010 release. More details here, or Google it yourself.

Role Models – Double Down your KFC Craving
Why bother with the bun? That’s the premise of KFC’s latest offering — the Double Down — a sandwich that replaces the traditional bun with two Original Recipe chicken fillets.
“It’s such a meaty chicken sandwich, there’s no room for a bun,” Rick Maynard, a KFC spokesman told Slashfood.
