This is a teaser trailer for what I believe is a short film entitled “A.D.”. It’s a 3D zombie animation that left me craving for more. You can read an interview of some of the people who worked on it, whose credentials include working on the game “Heavenly Sword” and the movie “300”. The interview…
Because I’m a nerd, I have to post these things, but this is just all sorts of bad ass. Unfortunately, this was home made, so no buying it.
This is a 3D animation done by Daniel Klug. It’s done in Maya and was finished in 9 months. The characters are very vivid and alive in this animation involving the love between two ninjas. Les Dangereux from RedForty on Vimeo.
Starting the New Year with one of the more surreal videos I’ve seen in a while. The video is done by Alex Roman and is more of a concept piece. It’s 12 minutes, so you might not want to watch all of it. But maybe you will if you know that the entire piece was…

Found another cool animation. This was done by a Canadian who submitted it into the Cannes Short Film festival. The textures and modeling are all pretty well done, with my only complaints being sound and the movements bothered me just once or twice, but otherwise a choice piece.

(which stands for North America South America) called Spacious Thoughts (which has nothing to do with space). Really well done all around. Then there was this bit he did on Letterman some…
So this is my ninja thus far. I haven’t given him pupils yet. He looks kinda creepy without them. I haven’t decided on the layout for the throwing stars and will probably start adding detail to his body. On his back are two sheaths. I haven’t worked on the swords yet. Soon enough. But so…
This is done by Blur Studios, who have earned their right to be called one of the great 3D studios, working on things like the new Dragon Age game by BioWare as well as earning an Oscar nomination somewhere along the line. Two years ago they released an animated short that I have always enjoyed…
