  • While not quite as shocking or awesome as a burlesque show starring Ms. Piggy, a burlesque show with Jabba the Hut is a close second. In all seriousness, I would go to this and have both a nerd-gasm and orgasm and it would be glorious.

  • Starting the New Year with one of the more surreal videos I’ve seen in a while. The video is done by Alex Roman and is more of a concept piece. It’s 12 minutes, so you might not want to watch all of it. But maybe you will if you know that the entire piece was…

  • I was shown this song when I was growing up, and while I can’t find the original, this version isn’t bad. The artist is Mark McCollum.

  • I finally found a clip of Impossible is Nothing that is still active. This was a huge hit in 2006 but has since been removed from just about all the video hosts. Surprisingly, Yahoo Video has it. • Nothing quite gets you in the spirit of the holidays like exploiting innocent children. It also happens to be quite hysterical. Please enjoy this wonderful telling of where Thanksgiving got started. And ended.

  • So I have two Tom Waits videos for you today. One is a recent collaboration he did with Kool Keith and the N.A.S.A. (which stands for North America South America) called Spacious Thoughts (which has nothing to do with space). Really well done all around. Then there was this bit he did on Letterman some…

  • So this exists. It’s specifically a Metallica cover band, that also happens to include their own prop comic routine that is run by a singing Gallagher impersonator. So convoluted it almost seems inane. But they have a surprisingly decent-sized following.
