You may remember Neurosonics from the Beatboxing 2.0 video. Well here is a video of them performing live. I’m on the fence about this one, but I do know that holographic technology is not beyond our grasps. Neurosonics Live from Chris Cairns on Vimeo.
This kind of surprised me. It’s a rock mash-up group, and granted I’ve only listened to the one song, I have to admit they pulled it off a lot better than I would have imagined. Give a listen to their big number, Don’t Stop the Sandman.
Now I’m not the biggest Massive Attack fan. I think they have made some good music, and while I have never been that enthralled by that genre of music, I always knew they were a little stranger than most. This video is a perfect example of that. It’s a good combination of slow and minimal…
This may seem kind of strange, seeing the Muppets listed under Tasty Jams, but then again it’s the Muppets and you’re probably all like, “Dude that’s so retro lol”. In any case, the Muppets have done some wonderfully creative musical numbers since Jim has passed. While I can’t attest to their regular material anymore, I…
This isn’t good. You will probably call me to tell me how much you hated this song. I’m letting you know that’s OK. Because deep down, I know something. I know this song has destroyed you inside just a little. And at the end of the day, what more can I do?

I remember first hearing about OK GO a few years ago and while they were enjoyable for a bit, I thought they were a little too bland and generic. While my opinion of their music has improved, I have to say that my appreciation for their creative juices has expanded dramastically. Just check out two…
Parry Gripp is apparently the man behind the Nom Nom Nom Nom Nom Nom Nom video that hit February of last year. He followed this up with the video entitled Fuzzy Fuzzy Cute Cute, which is practically a direct sequel to his first viral video. But I found out today that Parry Gripp is actually…
I stumbled upon this group just recently, a self-proclaimed “South African rave rap” that has a very unique approach to music. While the video started out innocently enough, by the end of it I was torn between laughter and a level of unease. Not much can do that to me. I found the music enjoyable,…
PS22 is an elementary school chorus from Public School 22 in Graniteville, Staten Island (New York). It is comprised of 60-70 fifth-graders, and is directed by Gregg Breinberg. Their rendition of Alicia Keys & Jay-Z’s Empire State of Mind is beautifully done and most definitely worth watching.
