    So if you are reading this through the site and not through an RSS feed, you will have noticed a lot of changes. I will be fixing the banner up again, but I’m a little lazy right now. Setting all this up was quite a task, but a lot faster than last time. Feeling good about this layout too.

    I have a few things to do so I’m going to make this post brief. I was going to Savannah to see my mother this weekend, but as always something comes up. My car’s seat belt decided last night that it didn’t want to work anymore. It locked up and won’t come down at all anymore. I ran around a bit today and unfortunately was not able to get it fixed before close. So I have to do it tomorrow, so my schedule went crazy.

    My 3sexy went the road of the infamous RROD. It was a sad night, but I’m not that upset. My family has been surprised at my lack concern to get it fixed immediately. I only play 2 or 3 games on it on a regular basis, and those are always with someone. Ah well.

    Lastly, I haven’t had an interest in buying a new piece of technology since I’ve gotten my TV, until just the other day. I’m not sure when it was released, as I’m never really on the cutting edge anymore, but I am quite interested in the Kindle 2. It’s within a reasonable price range finally, but I’m not sure I’m ready to invest. One thing I have mixed feelings about is their choice to go B&W only. I know given the technology and the need to create a screen that doesn’t require back lighting to simulate an actual newspaper, but I’m curious if they will attempt it in the future.

    Well that’s about it. I will finish my tangent thought this weekend, promise. Love and turpentine to all.

    What people look for

    It’s interesting to see what people search for and what people expect the internet to know.  I am a little astounded by the fourth entry though. That’s a popular search?! That makes me really want to change my pen name to “this popular guy”. Oh yeah baby. You keep searching. I’m ready for you.

    There are so many ways this popular guy can get you pregnant baby. Just come a knocking….

    I will finish the second part to the previous post still, but this was too interesting not to post.

    So I got wind that Google Chrome OS is in development. As I don’t read the geekiest online resources these days, this might be old news for some. But I heard it today so I’m posting today.

  • I will take it all

    Hello. It’s been a while since my last post. Not as long as my normal absence, but noted nonetheless. I hope everyone is doing delightful. Things have been… interesting.

    I’ve been pondering on a thought I have long shunned, due to frustration and what could lead to an eventual revamp of all my morals and principles. So a big one. Now this is a fun little rant I haven’t made in a while, and my sister Dana will be so delighted to hear I’m bringing it back.

    Hello again. How have you been since we last spoke? To what great pleasure do we owe your return? Have a seat (as if you are standing). Relax. Take all that weight off your shoulders and just chill. These past few days have been enjoyable, I must say. It has been a while since I have found myself thoroughly amused by the monotony of life.   • A Baised Review – Pixar's Up! soars

    Upon catching the first preview for this movie, I have to admit I was unsure about it’s success. Pixar had yet to dissappoint me and had in fact set the bar pretty high with Wall-E. Their ability to take the simplest plot and turn it into an adventure that has never been anything short of amazing is not something to be taken lightly. Time and teaser trailers did manage to catch my attention, enough so to make me go and catch the midnight showing.

    So as an update on my previous post, I did manage to finally get a hold of Heathbar, and as always, it was just my paranoia causing a stir, just to rattle things up. Things are not bad between us, but we still don’t really talk. But I can’t really hold that against her. She is a busy person and I am not. At least not really.

  • Another long day

    Another arbitrary post. Things have been well for me. I’ve managed to barely stay afloat financially. I am moving out in two months to a new apartment. I’m still working 40 hours a week, and will possibly progress further into the IT field with a year or so of training as a LAN tech. If I did that I would be able to pretty much handle any kind of basic IT job and have over 4 years worth of experience at it. That’s not bad, but if I were serious about it I would have to start getting certifications and that just doesn’t sound like a whole lot of fun.

    Playing lots of games, no new ones thank goodness. I don’t need to spend more money. But none of that is very fulfilling. I feel a good rant coming on and I’m going to let it out, for once. What’s there to lose?

  • Of memorials

    So this past weekend was the ever-so-celebratory weekend we Americans call Memorial Day. It was an interesting, yet uneventful, one. This past week or so has been quite topsy-turvy though. I haven’t had much time to think, much less write. I have been inkling to do something that I probably shouldn’t, but what’s the worse that could happen?
