  • Mario vs. Pacman – Who ya got?!

    So a group from a country whose alphabet I can’t begin to decipher created an awesome short using the hypothetical question that I’m sure has haunted at least a few of the hardcore gamer nerds: If Pacman fought Mario, who would win? Would the indomitable munching of Pacman be enough to thwart the hi-jinks of everyone’s favorite not-Plumber? Watch to find out.

  • Trashed Idea – Animal Weighing Scales

    People tend to watch their weight. Every morning a majority of America stands on their scale to either motivate them to work harder or feel bad for themselves. Many people don’t even like to weight (that’s a fat pun) around long enough to see what the numbers are. Well, someone thought it would be a good idea to replace the numbers with rough averages of a certain animals weight. thus, the Animal Weighing Scale. Where do you think you weigh?     This one is less laugh-out-loud and more what-the-feck? It’s concept and delivery are only matched by the way the man awkwardly stares at the camera as if to say, “Good God. Please don’t air this ANYWHERE.”

  • Classic WTF – Impossible is Nothing

    I finally found a clip of Impossible is Nothing that is still active. This was a huge hit in 2006 but has since been removed from just about all the video hosts. Surprisingly, Yahoo Video has it. Apparently no one pays attention to Yahoo video.

    Anywho, in October 2006, Yale University student Aleksey Vayner applied for a job with UBS AG. Amused by Vayner’s apparent puffery, an unknown member of UBS staff emailed his application materials to other investment banks. It’s quite mystifying how people can behave in this manner.

    This is a local commercial for Central Florida’s Zoo and Botanical Gardens. It highlights the most universal characteristic of all living creatures, the need to go. It’s slightly gross, so if this isn’t your kind of cupcake, the poo-flavored one, then don’t watch this.

  • Trashed Idea – Land Mine Awareness Ketchup

    I would buy a box of these things if I knew where they were sold. I find this to be quite a fascinating brand of advertising, one that really projects a certain tone and seriousness to their cause. Because who really wants to continue eating when they are instantly brought to the thought of a human foot exploding! Bravo to whomever designed this. Bravo.
