  • Trashed Idea – Russian Roulette Ping Pong

    Quick survey: Who hasn’t wanted to play ping pong with a live grenade before? Anyone? I didn’t think so. This video is beautifully shot, showing off clean angles and strong lighting techniques as well as having a solid concept. It’s one of those rare GOOD Trashed Ideas. After watching the video, I was unable to help feeling like I was one of the people in the tuxedos behind the glass.

  • Role Models – Freestyle Rap Translation

    I’m not that big into rap. I find the genre to be rather washed down these days with truly shining stars of the category to be few and far between. Not surprisingly, I lack the appreciation and ability to understand most of the music. However, thanks to Brit, I comprehend on a much higher level the kinds of topics and emotions that can be generated through this art. Watch this video and enter a world of freestyle formality.

  • Trashed Idea – Victimless Leather

    (CAUTION: Kind of gross/wierd. Don’t read after eating)
    I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Now it’s time to focus on Christmas. The time of giving. A group called T.C. & A. have given the world a new concept (and prototype) for new garments.

    The Victimless Leather is grown out of immortalised cell lines which cultured and form a living layer of tissue supported by a biodegradable polymer matrix in a form of miniature stich-less coat like shape. The Victimless Leather project concerns with growing living tissue into a leather like material.

    What they are talking about is synthetically created HUMAN SKIN that serves as a garment. The prototype is small, but bear in mind that it’s a living tissue. More can be found here.

    You may have already seen one of this guy’s email rants float around the internet. Well I managed to track it down to it’s source and the guy is stock with funny articles.
